After receiving a lab bill in the mail, I physically looked for the positives in this situation of financial burden and compared it with the initial fee, or the total without health insurance. Alas, I found my affirmations to be true, as my financial burden was only a fraction of what it could have been without health insurance. So, thanks mom and dad for all that you do!
