Conquering the mighty Des Plaines River Trail from mile marker 10.5 to mile marker 8.5, total 5 miles in 94 degree heat. This movie was made with a Garmin eTrex GPS and Google Earth on a PC that still had a serial port. Woofie was the scout! The futzing around in the northeaster corner was our stop at Wendy's.
July 23rd, 2011. The historic union of Eddie "Carlos" Davance and Wilermina "Nina" LeCroux was officially blessed by God today, and entered the Guiness book as well!
Dedicated to Woofie the hero dog, and Billy Kangaroo and the awesome Piper Road Spring Band, during our 30 mile trek into the Kettle Moraine Wilderness June 21st-24th, 2011.
If you live in the Chicago or Milwaukee area, and have not conquered the Ice Age Trail in Kettle Moraine, shame on you, but you still have time to save face.
